If you are claiming your physiotherapy treatment through Workcover, please be aware of our practice policy outlined below:

Unfortunately you’ve been injured at work and you need Physiotherapy treatment to assist you to recover. What happens now?
Please firstly be aware that until you reach the “excess” amount for a WorkCover claim (usually around $700) you will be responsible for paying for your Physiotherapy treatments. You can then claim these payments directly from your employer.
Your employer may tell you that we can bill them directly, but this is not possible for us to do. If you are not happy with this arrangement, please let us know and we can speak with you about it in more detail.
You must notify us BEFORE you enter your appointment that you are looking to claim your physiotherapy session through Workcover.
You will be asked to complete our WorkCover Treatment Notification Form. We need this information so that we can then apply for further physiotherapy treatment funding (if required) once you have reached your excess.
You may need to take a copy of our WorkCover Treatment Notification Form to your employer so that you can obtain all the relevant details (if you don’t already have them). Please bring this form to your next appointment.
Once you have met your excess, we are required to submit a Physiotherapy Management Plan to your WorkCover insurance agency. You will be asked to complete a number of “Outcome Measures” which we will provide to you and talk to you about further.
